100 Guys Who Care Boston got together on Tuesday, June 19th, 2018 at the Black Rose in Boston. Three members who has been part of 100 GWC since the very beginning nominated their own charities and shared their stories.

Phil Bean shared Play Brigade, which is a group dedicated to creating opportunities for inclusive play, recreation and sports, where everyone participates and belongs, regardless of age or ability.

Kevin Smith shared Magical Moon Foundation, which supports children and families facing cancer. Many organizations support cancer research, but Magical Moon is unique in their focus on empowering children to use their inner strengths to manifest miracles in their lives.

Finally, Josh Reed nominated the Tyler Foundation (which was our final vote). The Tyler Foundation is an amazing group, which serves families whose children are undergoing treatment for epilepsy.  The foundation helps offset the myriad of expenses that a family will incur when seeking care.

We’re still tallying the total group gift and we’d like to inch the total upwards and welcome anyone who would like to contribute! You can donate via PayPal (100GWCBoston), Venmo (GuysWhoCareBOS) or you can send a check made out to “The Tyler Foundation” to: Peter DiMarzio, P.O. Box 1134 Concord, MA 01742. Be sure to include your mailing address so you can receive your tax donation letter.
